Eira is one of the most exceptionally dedicated and professional people that I have ever had the privilege to work with. Her terrific interpersonal skills help her to influence others into contributing to achieve the very best results. Any organisation lucky enough attract and employ Eira will find that they have discovered not only a master of payroll, but someone who is highly-skilled in many areas, including training. I have known Eira for a while now as a tutor, member of the Institute, speaker, conference delegate, and a great mover on the dance floor! More seriously I am always impressed by the professionalism shown by Eira in whatever she is involved in, more recently as a member of the IPP Board of Directors. Eira is one of the most focussed people I have worked with, she is tenacious and determined. Working with her as a Non-Executive Director has been a pleasure. Her passion for her role and profession is obvious in all aspects of her work. Her contribution to the institute goes beyond that of NED as she is also a tutor supporting the IPP's Diploma and Degree programmes and regularly writes well-informed articles for payroll and HR magazines.

I worked with Eira for many years with both her and I working in changing roles/departments. I worked primarily in a development capacity with Eira working with/for customers more directly - she therefore represented their views when I contacted her for advice about developments and she contacted me for advice about developments affecting her or the clients. She became an excellent sounding board over the years where I could ask and receive honest/well-thought through feedback on development issues where a clients perspective was wanted. Similarly, ongoing feedback from Eira on existing software and developments helped us to not only improve the software but the various development processes we used too. In my occasional contacts with clients, those who had worked with Eira had nothing but praise for her and would often request her by name when seeking Consultancy assistance.

Eira is a professional who is focussed and organised at all times. Eira is a very approachable and personable person who was Service Delivery Manager for Payroll and people Sevices at Mouchel in Lincoln. In my experience working alongside Eira, she demonstrated an excellent knowledge of the business and put this into practice in a very professional manner. Eira is very supportive of her colleagues and subordinates and I have no issues with recommending her and would welcome the chance to work with her again.
Eira's chief objective when she was hired into the role of Payroll Manager for HBS Business Services (which later became Mouchel Business Services) was to implement lean process improvement in one of our offices and then to roll out that improved process to the other payroll departments within HBS. Eira performed the task extremely well, engaging the staff, creating enthusiasm for change. She managed the client well throughout this process and was therefore able to totally fulfil her original objective.

Eira is a Board member of the IPP and has the portfolio responsibility for Policy & Research. In this capacity Eira is the mentor for me as Associate Director of Policy. I have known Eira for more than five years, and over that time I have found Eira to be very supportive of me whether in my role as an IPP tutor or latterly as my mentor. Eira is an excellent listener and a solver of problems. She has expert skills in payroll and in people management. Eira is one of the nicest people anyone could meet, but she also has an assertiveness that encourages a "working together" attitude from her team.
